Mr. Claudio Guardabassi is a visionary businessperson and diver, who over several decades successfully developed a recreational and commercial diving operation in Brazil. His vision of the future and understanding the customer needs, allowed him establish a series of very successful companies. Several generations of well-trained dive-masters, instructors, dive center managers, dive center owners and dive manufacturers, started their diving careers under Mr. Guardabassi supervision and guidance.

Margo Peyton (USA)

Driven by the desire to share her love and passion for the ocean with her own kids, Margo began to research family-friendly dive resorts around the world. Having discovered none, she founded and developed Family Dive Adventures and Kids Sea Camp, which provides places where families can go and dive together, “giving them a week that they’ll remember forever.”
Enric Sala (Spain)
Significant Career Achievement and/or Industry contribution.
Enric Sala is a former university professor who saw himself writing the obituary of ocean life, and quit academia to become a full-time conservationist as a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence. Sala’s present goals are to help protect critical marine ecosystems worldwide, and to develop new business models for marine conservation. He also produces documentary films and other media to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy environment, and to inspire country leaders to protect more of the natural world.
